I'm going to have to read the fusion post again, but I'm not sure what the point would be.

I think to a small degree fusion almost occurred in 2000. Wasn't there a fight in the Reform Party between Buchanan and Haglin (who was already the running under the Natural Law Party)?

I personally don't have a problem with 3rd party candidates anyway.
