The grossly overvalued dollar would be dropping sharply no matter who sits in the oval office. But the intense foreign hostility to Bush and his warmongering policies undoubtedly is accelerating the decline (and fall?). Bin Laden has said a number of times that one of his chief aims is to dethrone the buck. And Bush is doing his best to oblige.
