Apparently (I am told) one of the things that Muslims in general and Palestinians in particular can't understand is why Americans don't seem to care about the suffering of the Palestinians.

They're wrong, of course. As you have read on SI, many Americans do care about the suffering of the Palestinians, but they also care about the suffering of the Israelis.

The Palestinians seem to not understand or care that what they are doing to innocent Israelis is hurting their cause.

Not sure what to do about it. It seems like the Palestinians are blaming Americans because they can't stop hurting their cause.

Very self-destructive behavior.

This administration isn't going to reward self-destructive behavior.

Nobody is stopping the peace process but the Palestinians.

Sad to see.
