done. on NDX found 8 trades. 2 were winners, 6 were losers. average result is -1.8%. if you have the date of what you consider a successful evening star short (or long!) on NDX i'd love to take a look at it and maybe improve the model. Criteria: "star" net daily change of <0.4% "gap" difference between open and previous close of > 1% if Yesterday is a Star then if DayBeforeYesterday is a WhiteCandle AND Yesterday is GapUp from DayBeforeYesterday then if Today is GapDown AND RedCandle then ShortTheClose if Today is WhiteCandle AND Today closed higher then Yesterday BuyTheClose Close Position on third day
