Win, you are absolutely right about simply abolishing the corporate income tax. I am a corporate tax lawyer and I still maintain it is a big, silly, (may I use the term?) circle jerk. The cost of compliance now exceeds the government's take. That has been the trend over a long period of time. People in Washington know all this but the tax is a sacred cow to some and a job for others. A lot of bright minds could be better employed (in economic terms) elsewhere.
