Scott,
Some intangibles on why AAPL is a good bet.
1. Pacific Rim sales will continue to increase. This is where the growth market for computers is going to be for the forseeable future.
Why do Asians like the Mac? The Mac is far more friendly for Asian languages. Japanese and Chinese languages are more pictorial than literal than Western languages. Mac software is more effective in this regard.
2. The loyalty of Mac users is a powerful force. No other company has ever seen such a loyal following. That loyalty will be even more tenacious in Asian countries.

Just be patient and you will see the stock double in 1 year.
