I would like to see a lot more practical work for students as well. I think internships should be required to give students more real world experience. They also need to take fewer electives and concentrate on math, English, foreign languages and science, and fine arts classes that are not just goof off classes. I'm also in favor of trade schools for the kids who just cannot be motivated to stick out high school. There is nothing wrong with the trades, and it gives students a job when they come out, and a way to earn money to support themselves if they wish to pursue a college education later.
