Quit hiding the truth behind a few extremist examples.
The right has their Timothy McVeighs and Wackos from Waco. Nuts on each side. They're hardly the norm. Bottomline, the forests are being assaulted by the Bushies now and they even want to take away citizens rights to legal process. Why? for a few big timber lobbyists who give them $$$. No one needs wooden homes anymore. We'd rather have living trees. As for paper pulp there are many ways of getting it without butchering old forests. This is a greed vs. good issue if I ever saw one. I was shocked the last time I was in Washington State and witnessed the hillside after hillside clear-cut. Permanently. They wont grow back. At least not the way they were, wild and free. If you really need trees to cut use tree farms.
