Are u serious? Anne Coulter is a vitriolic, bottomless vat of garbage and propaganda, on par with Limbaugh and Hannity.

Actually, Coulter is far more "vitriolic" than is either Limbaugh or Hannity. That doesn't, in my mind, make her a bottomless vat of garbage (it is interesting you see Coulter as a bottomless vat of garbage but not Palestinian Baby Killers, however).

She never "wished violence on a paper". She made a sarcastic remark, and if you're too stupid to tell the difference then I can't see any point to a discussion with you.

Hannity and Limbaugh, on the other hand, have huge listening audiences not because they're vats of garbage, but because people largely agree with them. Frankly, most people are sick of the extremist left agenda. Those who listen to conservative talk radio do so because they escaped from the extreme-left-leaning network TV.

Liberals are constantly hurling lies and misrepresentations, just like those we've seen here today, against the likes of Limbaugh and Hannity. Yet, they don't stick because there is no "there" there.

I don't defend Coulter because I think she is too vitrolic for general consumption. However, the facts are indisputable. Her book made many, many excellent points that were not subject to debate or misinterpretation. Just as has been seen on this thread today, the complaints against her are based largely on either points made with sarcasm or broader points, such as the Couric incident, that were taken out of context.

The fact that Couric was quoting Morris was not the central issue in Coulter's book; the point being made was the way in which such quotes are more often run against conservatives than liberals. And that is an absolute, indisputable fact. Couric should never have quoted Morris, because the quote was out of context. Morris certainly never suggested that Reagan was an "airhed", yet Couric's quote would have led someone to that conclusion.

Liberals have not been able to point to one solid incident of Coulter lying; yet they all proclaim her to be a "liar". Personal attacks such as these are part of the process liberals use -- you may remember the term -- "the politics of personal destruction" -- under which liberals refer to Paula Jones as "trailer park trash".

You keep really good company.
