No, I don't think it would be overturned. It would mean the dismantling of the IRS...how many thousands would be out of a job? It would remove the flow of cash into the gov't coffers. That would mean a complete dismantling of the gov't. It is just too big and has too much momentum to get smaller so drastically. No politician would or can support the elimination of income taxes. No serious politician can even support flat taxes because of all of the IRS employees and accountants that would be put out of work. Right or wrong, constitutional or not, income taxes are here to stay as long as the United States of America exists. The only way out would be a complete revolution.
