<new lows in Japan>
Ten year lows for Japan. They dont want the dollar falling further. The dollar is up against the yen.
I imagine Japan is sick of seeing thier market market fall for 10 straight years but the only way the U.S. can support the deficit is to basically devalue the dollar.
The U.S. wont call it devaluation but that is exactly what it is.The good news for Americans is that since our debt is in dollars it really wont be noticed by everyday folks.
The bad news is that the rest of the world who depend on the U.S. for their support will suffer because of the corruption of our markets.
The world is basing their success on the American consumer and they are just tapped out.
When McDonalds and Walmart report lower numbers thats pretty much a death blow to American markets.
If you look at history, its not hard to compare the reason for Hitlers rise was due to the excesses of the U.S. market and the damage done during the correction. That time of which we find ourselves in now.
The names have changed but the effects remain the same.
I am libertarian, but I think President Bush wants to do the right thing.
What really pisses me off is the moral majority Jerry Falwell type of no obortion but h-bomb is ok type of mentality.Homeland security when thousands can cross daily.
The people that gave The USSR atomic information all had q clearence? Security is a joke.
The U.S. made it possible for these leaders and even helped them come into power.
Bush is Correcting his fathers mistake by extending the unemployment benefit(a death blow to his fathers campaign).
I think his father forgot that unemployed workers were not the same as welfare people?
I want to propose a new tactic-lets call it trickle up economics.
Thats where time spent on a job is never profitable but just break even.
The rule should be that labor should never be taxed and only the passive profit made on an investment?
Why should someone who works 40 hours a week be taxed on his or her income and some investor get free income from Bush plan?
Look,Bush is so confused he dont know where he is at unless somebody tells him.
I am convinced that even if the U.S doesnt commit a crime we are probably the reason for it.
Our leaders or so much sicker than we can imagine. We need Judge Judy to sort this out.
