Ley me see, Bill, if I've got this straight. The author likes glass box buildings with no redeeming aesthetic features and doesn't like crumpeldly buildings with no redeeming aesthetic features. Because, he says, the latter derive from, deconstructionism.

Tell you true, I think some of Gehry's buildings are OK:

Tracinski's gotta lighten up. Now that it's possible to build buildings without straight lines and with compound curves, it's going to take a while for the aesthetic to shake out. Some of it reminds me of art nouveau and art deco. Fun.
