Yep, and did you know one of LVCI's main competitors just bought all of Summit Technology's ill-advised laser centers? Now, LCA Vision (LCAV) has about 40 fixed sites, mostly Summit Apex (Plus) systems.

But they ain't got no trailers...

When I called LVCI, and they learned I was calling from California, they became very suspicious of my questions. They said they had lots of competition in CA, and were reluctant to divulge much info about their plans (they thought I was a spy). The SF Bay Area has a bunch of lasers all over the place, but none from LVCI. LCAV now has two sites here, and in all, there are at least a dozen lasers from LVCI's competitors zapping away.

LVCI's main advantage is its ability to go where no laser center operator has the guts to go: boonieville. They practically blanket the entire state of Minnesota, Florida, North Dakota, and soon Texas. Check out those maps at their website.

Do not leave the capsule.
