Jumps gun like Polywell with "Beachhead" systems

By INQUIRER staff: Friday 10 January 2003, 14:57

YOU JUST CAN'T stop companies publishing information about these early AMD Opteron Beachhead boxes, it appears.
The latest to join in the game is Angstrom, which as AMD Zone notes, has pasted a whole heap of information about its version of the boxes up on its web site, here and here. (See link)

The company is calling the boxes the Titan 64, with support for 32- and 64-bit Linux and MS OSes, just like the Beachhead boxes.

Meanwhile, we have snapped some other pics of these Beachhead boxes: see link

theinquirer.net

Angstrom says its customers include Wall Street customers, Conoco, Instinet, Johns Hopkins and Northrop Grumman. Its systems were used to produce rendering for Scooby Doo: The Movie."

DAMN! Look at who is possibly buying . inteL R.I.P. It is all over but for taps.

Regards,

DARBES

P.S. I am very sorry if I post to much but this is possibly important.
