There's probably a combination of things at work today.

First, as you note, Lexmark's comments might give someone pause as to the future near term growth of the printer business. Second, Dell's comments in Las Vegas make the likelihood of an upside surprise much smaller. If some other people had expectations like many on this thread, that would be a disappointment. And finally, there's some flaky group called the Silicon Valley Toxics Coalition that is at the Las Vegas show protesting Dell's use of prison labor to recycle used computers.

And, of course, there could also be a rumor mill out there, too, although I haven't heard anybody saying anything today.
