Hardly:
Please let me belatedly edit my last post and apologize for its tone. I suppose I did not take kindly to my analsysis being characterized as "meaningless". Please let me be more specific. Undoubtedly you understand a great deal about the business performance of Oracle relative to competitors, other tech companies and perhaps where Oracle may be positioned relative to competitors going forward. What I really should have said, is that I find it useful to understand some things about the past internal, financial performance of a company, irrespective of the stock price, in evaluating its prospects as a potential investment going forward. But again, past financial results are not necessarily indicative of future financial results, and internal financial results of a company may or may not be correlated to the actual stock prices for long periods of time. However, in my opinion, looking at where a company has been, from a financial standpoint, competitive standpoint, and stock price performance can all be useful clues in evaluating a potential investment going forward.
