Actually I knew what "shareholder's equity" on a balance sheet meant, I just didn't know what you meant. It seemed from the note that you wrote that what you meant was a pro-rata share of the "worth of the company", which it clearly doesn't mean in this case as far as I'm concerned. I don't expect to change your mind about this matter, and if you are trying to change mine, being condescending is the wrong way to start. I suspect that I understand the business risks for Oracle better than you do since I have worked in this field for many years. And if you actually understand the price fluctuations of tech stocks...
