I can't listen to vinyl unless it's treated with LAST (Liquid Archival Sound Treatment) right out of the sleeve new. It sucks otherwise.

I was glad to trade to the lower quality sound of CD's in exchange for the convenience. It took me 3-4 minutes to treat one side of a record to listen to it (clean w/Discwasher, De-Stat with a gun, clean stylus, then ready to play). What a hassle.

CD's sound like tin compared to good vinyl, but I like the convenience.
