The only foolishness of thought on this issue is the bacca chewin' notion that Americans who exercise their right to petition government will find their lives threatened merely because they chose to do so. Anyone who can create enough of this sort of inbred lunacy to ignore our law without himself being threatened, can turn his barbarism on anyone else, white or black. Should this ever happen, and our ideals are thrown to the Skoal can of history, then America is by default dead.
