No one likes taxes, but there is no free lunch. As John Kerry will tell Americans, you can have either-or. Either your tax cuts or your services. Either balanced books or big-time debt. Take your pick. Just common sense. The real issue on taxes is that voters are easily swayed into voting for candidates who promise to lower taxes, that is GIVE them money. Whether it is fiscally conservative and responsible or not.
