There are freedoms that should not be violated. AND there are STILL costs to their exercise.

TALKING seriously about slavery reparations has the cost of lost credibility and sympathy. It has the cost of forcing everyone to view the talker as apart, and forming their OWN opinions (using their OWN freedoms) about their hostility toward society, and thus their reliability as Americans. That may or may not be a good thing-BUT THERE ARE THE COSTS.

Forcing implementation of slavery reparations has a COST also. It is far greater, far more damning, and far more permanent.

Talk, create a movement, and succeed. But accept the implications of those three steps. Don't come crying to me when the end result is grossly undesirable: I DIDN'T MAKE THE CHOICE-YOU DID!...
