"Double taxation"? Why not just let dividends be flow-through expenses for corporations? Thus not counting as income so long as they pledge to let certain monies flow right through to investors? Why grant the tax cuts to those who hold the most stocks? Again, just a giveaway to the wealthy. Tax-free income for mostly the very rich and the government treasury gets smaller and smaller while expenses like military and health care go up and up and up. And very few who gets these dividend tax cuts will be spending it or hiring new people. That's just trickle down wishful thinking. We need stimulus and jobs creation NOW. That's why Kerry's plan makes so much sense. And it is not a budget buster. Pays for itself.
