The rich got much richer under Clinton with higher taxes. And do did the middleclass and everyone else. Ironic isn't it? and pretty much ruins the argument of the low-tax hawks who state low taxes always create growth. Maybe they do sometimes, but sometimes it's just a budget-breaking giveaway to the wealthiest people with no general benefits. Trickle-down voodoo economics, as Bush Sr. said, doesn't work. Or works very slowly if at all. It's fuzzy math. And Bush Sr. was right. Unfortunately his son ignored that.
