one area where Bush's expertise and knowledge is considerable.


The basic strength of Character seems to have been there, and if you read "Bush at War" you see how he learned, during the Afghanistan War, to deal with staff under wartime conditions. Any President, during wartime, goes through a "Earn while you learn" period.

I also don't think we should underestimate the enormous benefit of having his Father's experience, which he was present for and has learned from since, to guide him.
