I've read the Skeptical Environmentalist and I have to admit, it is not complete trash. Speaking of trash, Lomborg claims that the amount of it that humans generate every day is no problem. That there's ample land capacity on this planet to dispose of our waste. True enough. What Lomborg blithely disregards is that the useful disposal sites, such as the wastelands of the Sahara and Gobi deserts are remote to the estuaries that are now being befouled by the runoff from our consumer society. He's a great one for the hypothetical fix and the blind eye to reality. But, in theory, he's correct.

Is this dishonest science? Well I don't know. But it certainly is pure hucksterism.
