Oracle CFO Henley Sold 1 Million Shares Acquired From Options
By Laura Smitherman

Washington, Jan. 10 (Bloomberg) -- Oracle Corp. Chief Financial Officer Jeffrey Henley sold 1 million shares acquired from stock options at the world's third-biggest software maker, logging a $10.5 million profit.

Henley sold the stock Wednesday for $12.29 to $12.61 a share, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The sale was a ``personal investment decision,'' Oracle spokeswoman Jennifer Glass said.

Henley reported earlier this month that he sold another block of 1 million shares acquired from options on Jan. 2 for a $9.4 million profit.

Stock in Redwood Shores, California-based Oracle has gained 20 percent this month and about 45 percent over the last six months. Oracle shares rose 6 cents to $13.07 today in trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market.
