I had lunch with a prospect yesterday. The fella sat down and said, "I hate stocks. I think the economy is going to hell. Our companies are buried in debt. I think we're being lied to in the press and by our leaders. I'm only interested in gold and short term bonds."

Of course, my only answer was, "is this a trick?" <G> I figured one of my buddies was setting me up, knowing my thoughts on the above subjects. But the guy was serious. I was able to get him to consider platinum and silver along with his gold.
