Psycho is just repeating the media messages of the more fascist in Washington like Rove and Cheney, who say in private: "to properly loot the country we must neutralize anyone who threatens to have an open government, and do so by any means necessary." Especially difficult ones will have to be "Wellstone'd", or "Carnahan'd", "Anthraxed", etc.
The least cynical Bush sycophants think there won't be personal consequences for loss of American freedoms, planetary wafare and destruction of the economy. There's a lingering belief that riots in the streets will pass them by and military troops will protect rather than incarcerate them, because "might makes right", and they were on the "right" side.
The more cynical are on chat-rooms and hate-radio. Scanning the dial, I heard 15 seconds of Limbaugh this morning, enough time for the usual stream of bile, "...Pelosi is standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Saddham Hussein". Of course, he says this is because she is asking questions, instead of falling in line as a Bush "ditto-head". |
