"racist worldview"
A difference without a distinction.

Taliban who had SURRENDERED were shoved into containers and smothered. I'm outraged at this inhumanity.
War is Hell. Didn't you get the word?

I doubt she feels that way about the Nazi treatment of Jews in much the same manner.
There is a rather important distinction here, though. The reason it's important is that it is basically the reason many of the Nazis involved in that were HUNG.
Those Jews were non-combatants. Civilians.

It's the reason Lieutenant Calley was tried. Had those people been NV or Vietcong soldiers, there would have been no question about what he did.

Killing surrendered POWs is a war crime, though. Many of the German soldiers involved in the Malmedy massacre were tried as war criminals and executed.

But I've seen no evidence indicating those Afghani POWs were killed intentionally.

I have never once seen a rightwinger apologize for far worse things.
Far worse things than what? Calling someone a racist?

I've apologized on occasion. When I'm wrong. I generally don't call people racists, though.

I say "generally" because I have called Evil Vermin a fascist, an anti-Semite, a Nazi, and a neo-Nazi. OTOH, I regard those as fair descriptions.

But why aren't you outraged at the inhumanity of the Taliban? Or al Qaeda? They were far worse for far longer.
