TigerPaw,

Three days ago, we got a completely different news "spin" on this:

edinburghnews.com

On Thursday Blair is urging restraint and today he announces war is imminent?

Compare and contrast:

Thursday: "TONY BLAIR is urging US President George W Bush to delay any war against Iraq until the autumn to give UN weapons inspectors more time to obtain clear evidence"

Sunday: "Tony Blair last night made clear that war with Iraq remained virtually inevitable as President George W. Bush continued his inexorable steps towards military conflict"

Have the world's leaders gone mad? Or is this simply part of some diabolical scheme to drive the general public insane? Or has the lapdog been told that his position at the Carlyle Group is in grave jeopardy if he caves in to his party's backbenchers? Is Blair so craven and corrupt that he's committing Britain to war against the will of most Britons?

That would be the best explanation I can come up with.

Any views?
