You can see my earlier posts to sandintoes were polite and respectful and then i get returned with all that ludicrous malarkey, such as we tried to kill Vick!! I have seen the replay several times and first and foremost the holding on Darwin Walker was one of these clearcut BLATANT holdings, the guy was on Darwin like Spiderman, and if NOT for that hold Vick is stopped at the line of scrimmage or throws. So in the first place Vicks dash for the goal line was made possible be clear-cut illegal blocking by Falcons lineman.
Dawkins speed and to come out of no where and put a tremendous hit on Vick was totally clean and the hit would have stopped many another QB or caused a fumble.
You did not hear one complaint or a finger pointing from Falcons on that play, they knew it was clean, and they also knew the holding call was a good call.
Were you and fans nervous that Reid would just kick on the 4th and one play? Would you have booed loudly if he did not go for it:) I know i would have:)
I was on the 700 level a couple times and admittedly thought the seats should provide a cliff-climbers hook and line:)
When i watched Eagles beat Packers in championship in 1960 i was sitting in the aisle with my back to back wall as i was at the highest level possible.
The TD call was superb, Falcons were stacked for the run and got toasted.
David Boston and i think Eric Moulds are free agents this year. I rather see one them with us rather either with Falcons.
I actually have never seen any QB like Vick, to be 6'(a think probably 5'10") and 220 lbs and to be THE FASTEST player in the entire NFL along with being a left-hander that can throw howitzers.
If we had come out a played with the "intensity" of the Packers on"D", Falcons beat us. The defense, without being remotely dirty, played relentless hard hitting defense and the holding calls were sign the linemen for falcons were going to plan C to "hold" us in control.:)
You didn't see it as you were at the game, but i am i getting sick of Cowher of Steelers and his jut jaw tantrums are getting absurd.
