The world economy is recovering more slowly than projected, and a war in Iraq could put a brake on further growth, according to a new U.N. forecast.

Bad news for Americans, bad news for Iraq. So who is going to be the winner of this conflict in a global geo political sense?
One of the bright spots is China, where strong domestic demand for goods has helped insulate its economy and sustain others in East Asia, the report said. China's economy is expected to grow 7 percent in 2003.

Hu knows, peace and prospertity will win over chaos and idle minded growling.
