I2,

You are pretty much correct on Bruce Williams. His show is more of a general advice show on everyday work and business topics. I haven't really heard him address any specific stock questions. His forte is addressing questions like problems with buying or selling a house, advice in starting a business or advancing your career, and legal questions, like when you should see an attorney, etc. A lot of stuff you can use in everyday life. I enjoy his show because he has a vast wealth of knowledge in a lot of different business situations--I think he has started several businesses on his own and shares his experiences--good and bad--with listeners.

About the closest I've heard him come to addressing investment topics is that occasionally he'll get a question about whether someone should keep a lot of money in savings and cd's or invest it. His advice in this area seems to be very general in nature, he says if its long term money, you should probably invest it, but if you'll need the money in five years or less, to keep it in the bank. I seem to remember people calling in with specific investing questions, and if I remember correctly, he usually advises people to do their own homework or hire a trustworthy broker or financial planner. I would be shocked if I ever heard him come out and make an outright market call such as "Buy stocks now!" or "The crash is coming, sell your funds." He is smart enough to know that that is not his area of expertise, and decisions like those should be left to people whose area of expertise is in investments.

Gary
