andrew - not overbearing at all. i've appreciated your comments. i considered not posting my little satire, but i thought you might enjoy it. i am not a cat. i'm a dog. and when i'm feeling irritated, put-upon or protective; i gaze longingly at the throat of the one i consider responsible. alas, my mistress knows me well and keeps me on a short chain. and she can be sooo nice. "down leroy," she says. "he's really a good man at heart." so i lay down in a huff and continue to eye my target. every now and then, when she has simply had enough, she lets me loose. and on occasion, when she is distracted, i break away and wreak dogly havoc. but returning home to the "bad, leroy. bad,bad dog." speach can take the edge off my fun. sometimes it sure is worth it, though. jp
