Agouron is also a darling of the brokerage community. Paine Webber, Morgan Stanley, Lehman, etc. love it and have been pushing it for some time. No letup in sight. Major institutional investors have also been increasing their positions. Just look at the recent SEC filings (other than the insider sales). Several have even suggested that Agouron was their single best investment idea. What I don't understand is -- why does Dow Jones (Barrons and the Journal) keep on trying to batter the stock? And why would anyone short AGPH in this market? I may be wrong, but it seems headed toward 100 again. Whether it breaks it, or not, is a different story. In either case, I wouldn't want to be short. Just my 2 cents.
