What interested me are the assumptions, implicit and explicit, e.g., "the US is the defacto global cop" (#5) (explicit), "the United States maintains the world’s only global blue-water navy" (#37) (implied, the US rules the waves). Inevitable conclusion, it's our turf, we make the rules. Message 18432288 I was hoping for debate but I think it's too late. This particular subject appears to have been resolved while we were talking about other things.
