Then go and apply the same solutions to the third world." IMHO There are many reasons, but the main ones are: Education, Democracy, and the "American Dream " metaphorically speaking, hard work, the urge to see your family in the best conditions and the need to send your kids to college in conjunction with who works harder has more success and rewards.
