Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Remember that Gates took a dime of earnings out of the previous quarter and put it in the bank for this one. The "fix" is definitely in. If he can, he'll certainly be well-advised to do the same with any "excess" from this quarter above $0.90. Long-term I'm skeptical that MSFT can sustain more than about 35%, which is why your ever conservative Valley Girl prices the stock at only 70s (post-split) by year's end.
