And I don't really know that it's been working. Making money during the bubble was primarily a matter of getting out before it popped. Other than that, my record is probably no better than a decent mutual fund. But so far I've done well enough on companies that I think that I understand, so I have most of my money in bonds and mutual funds, and the part I invest I keep in companies whose business I feel I understand. But I can't say that I understand the market, so I'm not convinced that you're wrong.
