More accurately it is the Likudnik wing of the Israel lobby that is the primary force behind the war drive. The whole arms thing is a gigantic straw man to sell an imperialist war of conquest to the American people. The idea that Iraq represents a military threat to the US is a big lie of Hitlerian proportions.
