What the heck are you talking about? You are getting way too defensive. Nothing I said is specific to the Northwest. All I did was bring up a trivial point as an example, and that point happened to be at a NW event.

Way too defensive? I don't think so.......when you present the street of homes as a "microcosm of mainstream environmentalism", then you trivalize the NW's efforts in terms of the environment.

I don't believe there is going to be "major environmental degradation" or the imminent "extinction of man," either. If that offends you, tough.

You don't believe? How can you be so sure? If you have facts, please share them with the rest of us so we can feel so confident.
