So what does everyone think the markets immediate reaction will be when Bush gives the order to attack. I think it will sell off severely, then after two or three weeks start recovering. That is if it looks like it would be over quickly, and we're not retaliated at here or some where else in the world.

In that event might be a very long deepening of the downturn.

If we had a quick war, and were welcomed as Liberators instead of occupiers, markets would come back strongly. But I think the first scenario is the more likely of the two. Anyone else care to venture a guess? Better hurry though, as the number of troops deployed increases so does the probability of war.
