They are technical Tommaso which we have already established that you don't believe in. So I won't bother you with the details.

I'm not saying for a certainty that the october lows are the bottom. I'm not even convinced that they are the end of the first leg of the bear. What I said to the chief was that even if they were it would require a miraculous move to get new highs this year.

I can say for a certainty that things do not go straight down for years and years at a time. The nikkei went down for three years, was essentially flat for seven, and has again declined sharply for the last three or so. Why should the US markets do otherwise?
