take as much as will feed the Iraqi population, then keep the rest until the war debt is paid. Apart from counting hypothetical eggs as if they they were material chickens, it's not a good idea. It plays into the hands of Western enemies. As far as I know this is going to be a US invasion of Iraq. Is it the US's aim to go there for spoils like a medieval army? What point is the war and sacrifice going to make? Letting the Iraqis rebuild their infrastructure and making sure they build a decent government themselves, is good enough. Write off the cost of the war just we wrote off the cost of the Cold War. You are stepping into the triumphalist error.
