Sydney, you are right on target with your questioning of the motives of these guys who spend all day trashing AIPN while conveniently avoiding addressing anything that might put in question their negative attitudes. In my bookthey are just a bunch of arrogant, ethnocentric oilmen who seem not to be able to handle the fact that their colleagues (or former colleagues) in the industry (Exxon, Chevron, etc.) didn't get offered this concession by the Kazaks....or they are shorts (there is a short position in the stock of a relatively insignificant 300,000 shares).

As to your question about the stock price Monday morning, all I can say is that this stock has been very stable during the last few days. Very little volatility. Very orderly trading with respectable volume. Given that a lot of the trades Thursday and Friday occurred between the bid and ask there is a possibility that the MM's have been quietly accumulating stock in anticipation of the next news from the company. Whether a run-up occurs first thing Monday morning is anybody's guess. Mine is that you should be able to get stock at around $3 early Monday morning.
Edward, sorry for what you call "bickering" . It's just that if someone came to this thread with no knowledge and was only exposed to Taylor's crusade against AIPN, among other consistently negative attitudes, that person would be left with a pretty warped view of AIPN's prospects as a company. Some of us think that would be unfortunate.

Cheers....Faris

PS Geneat, that was one brilliant post...thanks!!!
