Debt or no debt, the SS obligations are so large, and the number of people paying the bill relative to the number of beneficiaries will be so small, massive tax increases will be required for treasury to pay the benefits of the boomers.

Probably high enough that if it is impossible to reduce them democratically, mass civil disobedience will occur.
