I believe that the courts are made up of men and women who have flaws. When too many men and women with the same flaws are in the same place, the potential for the checks and balances that are built into our system to fail, becomes very high.

I'm sure that you could think of some examples where you have shaken your head at jury verdicts. Probably leaning more toward "how the hell could they find "that famous football player" not guilty? If you can envision juries acting with an agenda in one direction, surely you can envision them acting with an agenda in another.
