I don't know the answer to that question.
Aw, don't be so coy, zonder. You have answered the question already, for the Palestinians and Cypriots, against the Israelis.
How about saying those lands are rightfully conquered and are now Israel, and all the people living on those lands are now Israeli citizens with equal rights? That could be a start...
Might be, but conditions are, to say the least, unfavorable. I know I wouldn't trust the Palestinians as a 51st state and a 1% minority, let alone a potential majority. Anybody who rejoices in suicide bombers targeting children and habitually labels dissenters as 'traitors' and shoots them, anybody who is, after all these years, unable to ditch Arafat (he's still polling 40% support. UFB), is not ready to make a good neighbor in a democracy.
Personally, I think the lot of them should rejoin the existing Palestinian state, Jordan. The Arabs have 22 countries. What do they need a 23rd for? What's the national difference between Palestinians and Jordanians, who are already 80% Palestinian? |
