AD, Assuming that what doesn't kill us can make us stronger.

What went wrong ?? I'll tell you what I think. You made 4 bets. Count'em FOUR.

1- the direction of AMAT's price.
2- the level from which that direction will take effect.
3- The timing of the drop.
4- The maximum the price would reach before reversing down.

That is a sure recipe for disaster. I had a mid-six-figure loss in '99 employing that method. So I know all about it.

It is hard enough to get one thing right at a time. But to hit them all dead-on is impossible.

Well, good thing it is just a scratch in the over-all scheme.
