That's new. What parties?

It's not new. Street parties in Gaza. If you want to see pictures, check the Little Green Footballs blog after any suicide bombing, they run the stories. They threw parties after Sept 11th too, though the PA confiscated most of the videotape. Or did you miss that too?

And what happens after the investigations? Has anyone in the Israeli army ever been convicted for unnecessarily causing some Palestinian child's death? (Just asking. I don't know the answer)

Yes, they have. And they certainly don't make heroes of the killers as the Palestinians do.

>>Carpet bombing of Tel Aviv, I should think

I doubt it. Even putting aside the human element, and the fact that Muslims also live in Tel Aviv (which would probably be a no-no for them), it would be a Very Stupid Thing indeed.

I never said Hamas had the PR smarts of Fatah. For starters, they are too honest about their genocidal intentions. They have shown no particular shyness about killing Muslims as collateral damage, either. For instance, they have suicide-bombed Arab-owned restaurants with mixed clientele, buses on routes that go through Arab villages, and the Hebrew University, which has many Arab students.

Every Friday, the imams in Gaza say, 'Kill the Jews, the sons of apes and pigs'. And they have been trying to as hard as they can. Why in hell should I doubt for a minute what they would do with an Apache?

>>Why hasn't it happened to Ramallah?

Because it is a Very Stupid Thing indeed, and would turn the world opinion as well as the US opinion against Israel faster than you could say "Jerusalem".

It would be stupid indeed, but that's not why it hasn't happened. It hasn't happened because the Israelis value Arab lives more than Arab leaders do. If they didn't -- if the Israelis responded to uprising like Hafez al Assad responded to the uprising in Hama in 1982 (hear about that one?) -- then the Palestinians would not have lasted long.
